For Open Sea For Animals mutations, start with the wording on the animal or egg you actually have. Gold, Diamond, Rainbow and Radioactive are recorded variant labels. Compare an animal’s displayed earnings under the same bonuses as your current lineup instead of assigning each label a guessed multiplier or universal rank.

Recognize the labels without turning them into a ranking
Early gameplay from 1:06 mentions a Rainbow basic egg, a Diamond frog and a Rainbow chicken. Gold wording follows in the same sequence. An egg pickup at 4:22 is described as Radioactive.

Keep the animal name in the comparison
Compare the complete displayed result, including the animal name. A variant attached to one animal cannot tell you the value of every different animal carrying that word.
When deciding what to place, inspect the current earnings of the candidates under the same conditions. If you change a potion, base upgrade or Rebirth multiplier between readings, that is a different comparison. Record the bonus change instead of crediting the entire difference to a variant.
If you have two results with the same animal name and different wording, compare them while other conditions stay steady. If the underlying animal names differ, judge their actual displayed earnings without treating that comparison as a universal variant multiplier.
Separate variants from egg rarity and area names
Rarity language also appears on eggs, areas and equipment. A word spoken during an upgrade-and-hatch sequence does not tell you which object it describes. Check the item’s own panel before using its label in a comparison.

Choose placement from the current result
Check whether the candidate is in inventory or already placed at the base. Compare it with the animal you would replace, using the same earnings measure and active bonuses.
If the variant looks impressive but the displayed comparison does not improve your lineup, keep the decision tied to the numbers the game shows. You might keep an animal for your collection even when it is not the better choice for earnings.
